1. Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards is one team in the lottery that would gain a lot of value by moving up to the fourth overall pick in the draft, a spot that some optimistic fans hoped the team would get heading into the lottery.

The Wizards had a 37.2 percent chance of landing a top-four pick but instead ended up with the ninth overall pick, which was nine spots lower than the team headed into the lottery as.

Washington is in a crossroads where they do not have any money to really add anything to a team that is not going to get much better. Who knows how good John Wall is when he returns and his contract is absolutely massive. It is time to hit the soft reset button and the best way to do that is with young assets.

The Wizards have a trade chip to offer the Lakers as well in Bradley Beal. What exactly it would take for Beal is unclear but perhaps the Wizards bite on a deal for the fourth overall pick and Brandon Ingram for Beal.

You might be against that trade but it gives the Lakers an established second scorer alongside LeBron James, which would be nice.

That does not even have to be the deal at hand but the fact is that the Wizards could benefit greatly from having two selections in the top-10 and might be willing to move Beal knowing that the Wall-Beal backcourt will never lead to a title.
