The Los Angeles Clippers have the salary cap space to make some serious splashes this summer and no splash is bigger than Kaawhi Leonard.

The Los Angeles Clippers front office deserves a pat on the back for how it was able to field a competitive team during the 2018 season all the while knowing that the main focus was going to be on the offseason.

The Clippers have enough salary cap space to sign two superstars this summer and could even sign two max guys with some minor salary cap shaving. All in all, Clipper fans have rightfully been excited for what could be this summer.

The most tantalizing superstar for the Clippers and the one that has been connected to the team the most is none other than Kawhi Leonard, who has led the Toronto Raptors to the NBA Finals and a Game 1 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

Even before getting traded to the Raptors and having success there, Leonard has had connections to the Clippers because of his LA roots and recently purchased Southern California mansion.

However, while making the NBA Finals likely does not change his mind, because it is likely already made, there is a chance that Leonard will not sign with the Clippers, despite what the fans think. Perhaps he fell in love with Toronto early in the year or has plans to sign elsewhere.

Either way, the front office is definitely gearing up for a reality in which Leonard does not join the team he has been tied to. It is our job to prepare the fans for that reality, and to do so we are going to give you three plan B options that the Los Angeles Clippers should consider if Leonard passes on LA.

And no, we are not counting Kevin Durant as a plan B option. These are going to be true plan B options.
