1. Will Smith

If you are a part of Dodgers Twitter, or at least follow along with what the fanbase is saying, then you definitely have seen fans petition for the Los Angeles Dodgers to trade for San Francisco southpaw, Will Smith.

Former Dodgers general manager Farhan Zaidi is now the President of Baseball Operations for the Giants so the likeliness of the two sides actually making a trade is higher. Before, the chances of the Dodgers and Giants ever doing business was slim to none.

If the two sides were to make a trade it would undoubtedly be for southpaw reliever, Will Smith. Smith has been fantastic over the last two years and would not only be the shutdown southpaw that the Dodgers need out of the ‘pen but can be a reliable eighth-inning guy as well.

Over the last two years, Smith has a combined 2.53 ERA in 76 appearances. Left-handed hitters are hitting just .176 against him and even right-handed hitters are struggling with a .158 average against.

And the best part about making this trade? It would open the door for a battery of two Will Smith’s, if rookie catcher, Will Smith, gets more time on the big league roster. That’s fresh.
