The Los Angeles Dodgers have asserted themselves as the best team in baseball and can win their seventh game in a row on Tuesday.

Everyone knew how talented the Los Angeles Dodgers were entering the regular season but there was still some uneasiness about whether or not the team would get off to a slow start like it did in 2018.

The Dodgers were coming off of their second consecutive World Series loss, where the first loss really impacted the team at the beginning of the following year. Instead of harping on the past, though, the Dodgers got angry and have played like it thus far this season.

Aside from a hiccup six-game losing streak at the beginning of the year, the Los Angeles Dodgers have been stellar this season. The team moved to 42-19 on Monday and are 34-11 since that losing streak.

The Dodgers could win their seventh game in a row on Tuesday, which would be a new season high, against the Arizona Diamondbacks. It appears as if the Dodgers have the edge as well, as the Boys in Blue are sending Hyun-Jin Ryu to the mound against rookie Taylor Clarke.

Ryu is the front-runner for the National League Cy Young award and has not allowed more than two runs in a start this season. The Dodgers very well could get another gem similar to the one the team got from Walker Buehler on Monday, which allows breathing room for the offense if it is a slow night.

It was a slow night on Monday as the Dodgers’ only runs came on a Corey Seager three-run home run. However, we still nailed our Los Angeles Dodgers Beat the Streak pick, extending our season-long streak as well.

Here is who we are going with on Tuesday.

Jason’s pick (Current streak: 11): Cody Bellinger

This is the third time that I am picking Cody Bellinger in the last four games, which is something I try to avoid doing in this series. Over-relying on one player is not fun and it is more fun to sprinkle picks around the team.

However, Bellinger is giving me too many reasons to pick him that I cannot simply pass up on the opportunity.

First of all, Bellinger is riding his own 10-game hit streak, so statistically speaking, I should like my chances of him getting a hit.

He is also coming off of a rare off-day, which always seems to have great results for the team’s best hitters. A refreshed Bellinger facing an inexperienced arm is exactly the kind of match up I dream up for this series.

Next. Southpaw relievers that the Dodgers could trade for. dark

This pick feel as surefire as it gets, which would move my streak up to a dozen. Hopefully, Bellinger does not make me look foolish.
