1. Clint Capela

After falling to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Playoffs in two consecutive years, the Houston Rockets are practically shopping everyone on the roster in attempts to bolster the team around James Harden while the title window is still open.

This does not mean that every player on the roster is going to be traded but practically every player aside from Harden is vulnerable to be traded. It could be just one of them, it could be two or three, but the Rockets are going to make some kind of move this summer.

That is why Capela is the number one name on this list as he is someone that the Lakers definitely should be interested in and is someone that would bolster the team’s title chances.

Capela has been criticized for his playoff performances but the 25-year-old center is still extremely promising. He averaged 16.6 points, 12.7 rebounds and shot over 64 percent from the field this season.

Having Capela on the receiving end of lobs from LeBron James and Lonzo Ball would be extremely fun to watch. He would add a nice layer of interior defense and would help the Lakers be one of the best rebounding teams in the league.

It would take players in the deal as well, someone such as Kyle Kuzma, to get this done. That might seem cheap, but the reason the Rockets might be interested in doing this is because of Capela’s new five-year, $90 million contract, which might ultimately hold the Lakers back.
