The Los Angeles Lakers lost shooting guard Josh Hart in the Anthony Davis trade and have two other shooting guards entering free agency as well.

As Laker fans await Kawhi Leonard‘s decision and whether or not he is going to join the Los Angeles Lakers, the team still needs to be looking at depth pieces that can fill out the rest of a roster that is very thin at the moment.

The one negative about waiting so long for Leonard is that the Lakers missed out on most of the great role players in free agency. If Leonard decides to sign elsewhere, the Lakers are going to be left with a lot of cap space and not many options on the table.

It will still be manageable as the team can do what they did last offseason and sign one-year contracts with veterans to come off the bench, opening up the cap space to pursue role players next summer.

The team has already done that by signing veteran forward Jared Dudley to a one-year, $2.5 million contract. Signing Dudley to come off the bench is a good move for the Lakers at this point of the offseason.

The team definitely needs to address the backcourt with rookie Talen Horton-Tucker being the only guard on the roster for next season.

Horton-Tucker has the size and athleticism to play some kind of role but he is still very raw. The Los Angeles Lakers should be looking to add one, if not two, free agent shooting guards to the roster.

Here are four remaining free agent shooting guards that the Los Angeles Lakers should look into targeting.
