1. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are a great team for the Los Angeles Chargers to trade with for several reasons. First of all, the Packers are in the NFC, and while the two teams play each other in the regular season, it would have to come down to the Super Bowl for the two teams to play in the playoffs.

Not only would the Chargers be trading him to a team that won’t affect their Super Bowl run, but they would be trading with a team that has been terrible at the running back position and could use an impact back like Gordon to help take the load off of Rodgers.

Getting an elite back like Gordon would make Rodgers and the Packers substantially better as it is becoming clear that Rodgers can no longer carry the entire franchise on his back.

The one downside for Gordon is that they have virtually no cap space and it would be impossible to work out an extension that he wants, even if the Packers send a contract in return to the Chargers.

But again, Gordon really has no say in the manner and while I support players standing up for themselves, they also cannot make all of the decisions for themselves.
