Los Angeles Clippers: Bold predictions for Kawhi Leonard in 2019
By Jason Reed
Fans of the Los Angeles Clippers are eagerly waiting for the NBA season to begin to see the new-look team in action led by NBA Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard.
Everyone knows that the Los Angeles Clippers are the biggest winners of the summer. With every other superstar signed to a different team, the Clippers put all of their chips on the table and landed not only Kawhi Leonard, but traded for Paul George to make signing Kawhi Leonard possible.
Now, the Clippers have arguably the best title roster in the entire league. Their duo of Leonard and George is slightly below the Los Angeles Lakers duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but the all-around roster takes the cake.
The Clippers have a pretty stacked eight-man rotation once the playoffs get underway and will be one of, if not the, best defensive teams in the league. Having Patrick Beverley, Leonard, George and Montrezl Harrell all on the court at the same time will be absolutely suffocating to other teams.
Today we are focusing on Leonard, who is going to be the leader of the team on both sides of the ball due to his all-around talent and experience in winning championships.
Last year was great for Leonard and this year is primed to be even better with him back at home. Here are our three bold predictions for Kawhi Leonard in his first season in Los Angeles.
