Anthony Davis was brought in by the Los Angeles Lakers this summer to be the second superstar alongside LeBron James and expect big things out of the Brow.

It took a lot of different rumors, speculation and false trade hope for the Los Angeles Lakers to land their second superstar. For two years, fans were left thinking about who the two stars could possibly be, and even after LeBron James signed, there still was not much to be expected.

All of that waiting ended up paying off as the Los Angeles Lakers traded for star big man Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans. Now, the front office has the superstar duo that has been promised and Davis has a chance to contend for a title.

It was pretty clear early throughout the year that Davis was going to be a Laker. The way in which he and Rich Paul orchestrated the trade request made it very obvious that he wanted to be a Laker and would not sign an extension elsewhere.

That forced him to LA, where he likely will sign an extension to not only contend alongside LeBron but also take up being the face of the franchise as LeBron gets up there in age.

This is the best duo that the Lakers have had since Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal (sorry, Pau Gasol) so it is understandable that the fans are extremely eager for the 2019 season.

And as you wait in anticipation, we are here to bring you our three bold predictions for Anthony Davis in his first season in Los Angeles.
