Heading into next season, one of the biggest questions for the Los Angeles Lakers remains at the point guard position.

After a failed attempt in the Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes and also losing out on D’Angelo Russell, the Los Angeles Lakers had to take what they could get. This resulted in the signing of three point guards—Alex Caruso, Rajon Rondo and Quinn Cook.

All three players offer a very different style of play, with opposing strengths and weaknesses. They all are deserving of some playing time, but none present themselves as a clear cut starter.

This begs the question, on October 22, in the highly anticipated battle for LA against the new-look Los Angeles Clippers, who will be the starting point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers?

In this article, I will break down the advantages and disadvantages of each point guard, examining how they would fit in as a starter, where they best fit on the team and predict where they will be on opening night.
