2. Danny Green sets a personal best in three-pointers made

Danny Green set a personal best in three-pointers made last season as he knocked down 198 shots from behind the three-point line. Surprisingly, he attempted more three-pointers during the 2014-2015 season, where he attempted 18 more and made seven less.

Last season was Green’s most efficient of his career as well as he made 45.5 percent of his three-point shots. He was second in the league in three-point percentage and was 13th in total three-pointers made.

Green is going to comfortably cross over the 200 threshold in his first season in LA as the Lakers are going to call on him to take more threes than he ever has in his career. He is going to be LeBron’s first option at the three-point line and is going to be a huge threat as an off-ball scorer.

Anthony Davis can also stretch the floor and he and LeBron will still lead the team in scoring. However, Green is going to still be the most frequent shooter that the team calls on and all he has to do is hit three a game to get way over the 200 threshold.

When you put it that way, it becomes a guaranteed lock that Green will hit at least 200 three-pointers this season to set a new personal best. If he shoots like he did last season and attempts six per game then he will finish with around 224 three-pointers made.
