The Los Angeles Chargers are looking to build off of a successful 2018 season and have their eyes set on the franchise’s first Super Bowl ring.

The Los Angeles Chargers were one of the most exciting teams to watch in all of football last season. The Bolts finished with the joint-best record in the AFC (tied with the Kansas City Chiefs) and had some of the most exciting and best wins of the season.

How often do you hear of a team winning on the road in Seattle, Pittsburgh and Kansas City, all in the same season? Keep in mind that the latter two both came in come-from-behind efforts that saw the Chargers stun their opposition.

After all of the fun of last season, fans are excited about what is in store in this year, although the cards seem to already be stacked against the Chargers. The team is going to be without Derwin James for 3-4 months, might not ever see Melvin Gordon play this year and still has a questionable offensive line that is banged up.

While they still have more than enough talent to be successful, it does feel different for the Chargers this year opposed to last year. Heck, it isn’t an unpopular thing for some analysts to predict that the Chargers will be a team that takes a step back in 2019.

Anything can happen on any given Sunday and that is what makes football so great. If the Los Angeles Chargers are going to win Super Bowl LIV, these three things are going to have to happen.
