Los Angeles Rams: Predicting the Rams’ final win total
By Hil Lopez
The Los Angeles Rams are coming off a 13-win season in which they just barely came short in Super Bowl LIII.
In less than one week, the Los Angeles Rams will embark on the start of the 2019 football season. Coming off a Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots, they will be highly motivated to get back this year and hoist the ultimate prize in February.
They come back with just about the same offensive personnel, but with a couple of new offensive lineman. Their defense returns the best defensive player in the game Aaron Donald along with Marcus Peters and Aquib Talib.
Here is a breakdown prediction of the outcome of each regular-season game.
In their first game, the Rams will take on the Carolina Panthers on the road. Given that Carolina QB Cam Newton is coming off a recent ankle injury, he may be hampered early. This should give the Rams enough time to jump on them early and get ahead early enough to win the game in the end.
Winner: Rams
The second game has the Rams taking on the New Orleans Saints at home. This will be a tough hard-nosed game played by two teams that do not like each other, given the call that happened in the NFC Championship game last year. In the end, I see the Rams coming out on top because of their more complete offensive weaponry.
Winner: Rams
The Rams will head over to Cleveland in order to face the Browns in Week 3. Cleveland reloaded this upcoming season with recent acquisition Odell Beckham Jr. and acquired Kareem Hunt as well. With Baker Mayfield in his sophomore season, the Browns will surprise the Rams in this gam, winning narrowly.
Winner: Browns
In week 4, the Rams face off against the Bucs at home. The Bucs feature a potent offense with Mike Evans, and Jameis Winston leading the way. However, their defense is porous, and the Rams receiver trio will rip them apart in open field.
Winner: Rams
