7. 2018: 92-71 .564 win percentage +1 NLW Standings

How can a team that won an NL pennant be ranked so low? Well, this is about the regular season so unfortunately, this team ranks bottom of the division winners.

The 2018 Los Angeles Dodgers started the season in a World Series hangover, they lost Corey Seager for the season, and at one point were 16-26 and 8.5 games out of first place. The Dodgers needed 76-45 charge just to tie the Colorado Rockies and force a tie-breaking one-game playoff for the NL West.

A 5-0 win behind the pitching of the rookie Walker Buehler finally clinched the division and vaulted them to their second consecutive World Series.

The reason this team ranks so low was because of the maddening roller coaster of a season the team took their fans on. The Dodgers were 22-22 in one-run games, had losing streaks of six and five games, and the bullpen tied for second in blown saves with 27.

The Dodgers seemed to grind out wins (and loses) making it a rough season to get through, making it ironic when the Dodgers returned to the World Series despite having such a tough regular season.
