The Los Angeles Lakers have a revamped roster that is ready to contend in 2019 and will have three players set even higher bars for themselves.

The Los Angeles Lakers are a bonafide title-contender for the first time in feels like forever and have every single fan of the purple and gold excited for what is in store in 2019. The Lakers boast arguably the best superstar duo the league with LeBron James and Anthony Davis and have a supporting cast that is no joke.

The coaching has undergone a change as well as Frank Vogel has been slotted in as the new head coach. Although, there are some that believe that Vogel is only a filler for Jason Kidd, who was hired as an assistant and who many think will take over the second it goes wrong for Vogel.

Heck, even the leadership changed as Magic Johnson stepped down as the President of Basketball Operations, giving Rob Pelinka the complete floor to shine in the process. While Magic is beloved by a lot of people in LA, perhaps his departure could serve as a nice signal of change.

It is an exciting year to be a Laker fan. While there have been highlights here and there with some fun players to cheer for, it really has not been this exciting since Kobe Byrant and Pau Gasol were out winning two championships.

Part of this exciting season for the Lakers is going to be players that set a new, higher bar for themselves. Here are three players that will absolutely set a new career-high in 2019.
