The UCLA Football team has yet another tough game ahead as the Bruins are tasked with the challenge of taking on Washington State.

The UCLA Football team just came off of dismantling by the Oklahoma Sooners in which the Bruins did not even look like they belonged on the same field. This week UCLA is taking on another tough opponent in Washington State.

The 0-3 Bruins have a serious risk of moving to 0-4 on the year, which will only continue to grow the displeasure with second-year coach, Chip Kelly. Winning takes time but the Bruins have just been disappointing this year.

Maybe they can get an upset in Week 3, maybe they will get dismantled again. Here is how the LA Sports Hub staff sees it going down.

Jamaal Artis (3-3): 40-21, Washington State

The UCLA Bruins go on the road 0-3 and open PAC-12 play against the prolific Washington St Cougars. It’s going to be 0-4, though not as formidable as the Sooners the Cougars present a challenge that the Bruins defense has yet to meet.

The Cougars’ Air Raid Offense is likely to tear up the Bruins as teams have all season. On the other side of the ball, the Bruins may score but their weak defense will be too much to overcome.

Hil Lopez (2-3): 35-20, Washington State

UCLA has been mired in a slump this season starting off 0-3. They have been unable to score more than 14 points in any game this season, and things don’t look like they are going to be better.

The Bruins will take on Washington St. this weekend, and the line is a gaudy 18.5 for Washington St. Until the Bruins can get more offense consistently, and limit their mistakes, they will continue their downward trend.

Redan Lopez (3-3): 38-24, Washington State

The UCLA Bruins are doomed. After getting pummeled 48-14 by the Oklahoma Sooners, the Bruins just do not seem to have the offense or defense to hold off high powered offenses.

The no. 19 Washington State Cougars are another high powered offense that seems to keep rolling, despite a close game against Houston last week. Houston is better than UCLA, and this one should be much simpler for them.

Cougars’ Quarterback Anthony Gordon should throw for his fourth straight 400-yard game and will keep the UCLA defense on the field for most of the game. UCLA and Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson still have a long way to go to get their first win.

Jason Reed (3-3): 30-14, Washington State

I have to agree with the rest of the staff here about the UCLA football team losing this game but where I don’t agree is how many points are scored. If you have paid attention thus far, UCLA has scored just 14 points in each of its first three games.

I think that continues and UCLA scores no more than 14 points in this game, getting beat handily by Washington State.

Next. Chip Kelly hot seat rumblings may soon begin. dark

While I think the total will be 14 or fewer, I am going with exactly 14 in this prediction just for the banter. It is pretty ironic that they keep only scoring 14 when 2014 was the last season that they won a bowl game.
