Los Angeles Clippers have three advantages over the Los Angeles Lakers

1. Defense
The Los Angeles Clippers have a significant advantage on the defensive side of the ball over the Lakers as they are probably the best team in the entire league defensively. The Lakers are going to be better at defense than people think this season and they still won’t come close to what the Clippers can do defensively.
Starting at the point, the Clippers will turn to Patrick Beverley. Beverley is the perfect point guard for this team as he does not demand the ball or need to score a ton, which helps when you have two superstars.
What Beverley does do is play excellent defense as he is one of the five-best (at worst) defensive point guards in the league.
The superstar duo that is alongside him is just as good defensively. Kawhi Leonard is a five-time All-Defensive player and has even won Defensive Player of the Year twice. Paul George is a four-time All-Defensive player and was the steals champion last year.
It does not stop there as the fourth member of the Clippers’ defensive Mount Rushmore is Montrezl Harrell. Harrell does not have any All-Defensive honors to his name but he is well above average in playing defense.
He is going to be huge as he will help guard big men such as Anthony Davis and Nikola Jokic and won’t be giving up much size.
