The NBA season is so close that you can taste it and we should remind everyone that the Los Angeles Lakers have the best duo in the league.

The NBA season is right around the corner and fans of the Los Angeles Lakers are immensely excited for a year that is full of promise. After the worst stretch in franchise history, the Lakers finally appear to be legitimate NBA Title contenders.

The addition of Anthony Davis put the Lakers over the top and made them true title contenders. However, it all started by LeBron James signing with the team a year ago. And while the superstar duo may not have happened as quickly as we anticipated, it happened nonetheless.

Fans should actually be grateful that it took longer than anticipated as the team ended up with a better alternative in Davis. The move likely name prior to Davis was Paul George, who is great in his own right but is no Anthony Davis.

George is part of his own superstar duo with the Los Angeles Clippers and is one of many other duos that the league has to offer. The NBA finally represents parity, and for the first time in what feels like forever, there is not one team that sticks out head and shoulders above the rest.

There is one duo that does and that is the Los Angeles Lakers’ duo. Discussions on whether or not they are truly the best have been prominent and have been fueled by Frank Vogel stating that they are.

We agree with Vogel and we think that you should, too. Here are three reasons why LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the best duo the NBA has to offer.
