Los Angeles Lakers: Three expectations to avoid having in 2019

The Los Angeles Lakers are practicing again so the NBA season is right around the corner as fans must avoid expecting too much out of the team.
The Los Angeles Lakers are entering a very exciting year for the franchise. After enduring through the worst stretch in franchise history, the Los Angeles Lakers are primed to once again contend for a title with a solid team that revolves around LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
There is still a lot of work to be done and nothing is a given but it should put a smile on every fans’ face that the team is actually promising this year. Long gone are the awful rosters and the young teams that fans were hoping could make some sort of massive leap.
This is a team that can live up to the high expectations that Laker fans have and can give the fans the success that they have longed for since 2013. It sounds funny painting the fanbase in this matter, as the Lakers have been so successful, but that success has made this stretch even worse.
It is one thing to get excited, though, and it is another thing to expect too much out of the team. We all know that fan that thinks the Lakers will go 75-7 and walk their way to the NBA Title and we all know that there is no chance of that happening.
However, there have been some common widespread expectations that fans have about this team that is set up to disappoint. Here are those three expectations I would definitely avoid having if you want to avoid being disappointed.
