The Los Angeles Lakers boast a pretty good roster around LeBron James and Anthony Davis but chances are that the roster will change during the year.

Despite waiting for Kawhi Leonard to eventually sign with the Los Angeles Clippers and missing out on some premier free agents, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to construct a roster around LeBron James and Anthony Davis that is deep enough to win a championship.

The Lakers brought back the likes of JaVale McGee, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Rajon Rondo and Alex Caruso while also bringing in a huge three and D guy with experience, Danny Green.

Dwight Howard was a late addition after DeMarcus Cousins‘ torn ACL, Jared Dudley presents a veteran presence, Quinn Cook provides experienced three-point shooting off the bench and Avery Bradley is someone who can far exceed expectations on both sides of the court.

This roster seems solid but there is not a chance that it is the roster that finishes the season. Whether it is from disappointing play or someone getting hurt, the Los Angeles Lakers are inevitably going to look to add at the trade deadline.

Most contending teams take this approach and look to cheaply fill holes that arise throughout the season. This is especially true for LeBron James-led teams, who always seem to be very active at the trade deadline.

We are still months away from the deadline and we have plenty of time before the speculation begins. However, if you want to be ahead of the curve, I would keep an eye out for these five guys.
