After a tough, narrow loss to the Arizona Wildcats, the UCLA football team is back at home and hosts the Oregon State Beavers.

The UCLA Football team had one of the greatest comeback wins two weeks ago against Washington State but could not turn that into a winning streak. The team went into Arizona last week and the offense again was fairly cold, only scoring 17 points in a 20-17 loss.

Fortunately for the Bruins, they are back at home this Saturday and are taking on an Oregon State team that has only been on the road once this year and lost to Hawaii.

The Beavers also lost last week by three points to the Stanford Cardinal, a former ranked team that is arguably better than Arizona.

It is going to be a compelling game to watch as there is not as big of a talent-gap as there has been in past weeks. Here is how the LA Sports Hub staff sees it going down.

Jamaal Artis (5-5): 37-17, Oregon State

The UCLA Bruins face the Oregon State Beavers at the Rose Bowl, it should be a win but with their up and downplay these last two weeks how can Bruins fans expect anything positive.

The Beavers present a bad matchup though, the Beavers, despite only winning one game (like the Bruins) have averaged 34 points, while the Bruins average 17 points.

With Dorian Thompson-Robinson hurt and a secondary that has yet to stop any passing offense expect another dismal Bruins effort.

Hil Lopez (4-5): 20-16, UCLA

UCLA will be looking for its second win of the year against Oregon St. UCLA dropped their most recent game 20-17 on a missed field goal in the last minute of the game.

Their defense played pretty stoutly throughout the game as they sacked Arizona’s QB multiple times and put relentless pressure on them. However, the offense could not muster many points throughout the game.

In a game where Oregon St. will look to get its first conference win, and the Bruins will look to get their first home win, the Bruins should come out on top as they have the superior defense.

Redan Lopez (5-5): 34-32, UCLA

UCLA and Oregon State are questionable teams that have not found an identity this season. The Bruins just can’t seem to score enough to win a game with the exception being the outburst against Washington State two weeks ago.

I think UCLA Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson will do just enough to get the job done against the Beavers if he plays. He’ll have two touchdowns and 250 yards passing. But it won’t be pretty.

Jason Reed (5-5): 24-13, Oregon State

I know that the UCLA football team’s offense looked insane in that comeback win against Washington but I have to take the overall example of how the Bruins’ offense performs vs. that one positive stretch.

Next. USC's true colors were shown against Washington. dark

Outside of that one good stretch, the UCLA offense has been poor. The Bruins scored 14 points in each of their first three games before only scoring 17 last week. The defense has been solid but it won’t do enough to overcome a sluggish offensive game for the Bruins.
