Liked: LeBron James and Anthony Davis did their part

This probably should be a given in every single game that the Los Angeles Lakers play, but both Anthony Davis and LeBron James did their part in this game. Neither star had a bad game and they did everything they could, in a preseason game, to get the Lakers the win.

Davis was not as spectacular as he was in the preseason opener, but he was still good scoring 16 points with five assists in 25 minutes of action. The one complaint about Davis is that he was not efficient as he could have been scoring the basketball, but he still was not bad.

James had the better game this go around with 20 points, six rebounds and two assists in his 25 minutes of action. James shot the ball slightly better than Davis, making seven of 15 attempts opposed to Davis’ 4-10, and was 2-3 from beyond the arc.

Davis finished the game with a plus/minus of +5 while LeBron was -4. They did not share the court at all times but when they were on the court together they gave us good signs to look forward to.

Not the greatest game, but definitely not bad considering they only played 25 minutes each and are across the world.
