The Los Angeles Lakers’ season is just around the corner and there is a lot of excitement around the team, although there should be concerns as well.

The 2019 season is an exciting one for the Los Angeles Lakers. After a six-year drought that yielded more missed postseasons than the history of the franchise had prior, the Lakers finally boast a roster that can legitimately contend for an NBA Title.

Last season was exciting as well, as the Lakers landed LeBron James, but the team was still not considered a legitimate title contender. However, they definitely were a playoff-caliber team and missing the postseason added yet another thing to get disappointed about to the list.

This year is different. The Lakers are not playoff hopefuls, nor are they title hopefuls, they are bonafide title-contenders that are properly equipped to bring home championship number 17.

LeBron has his running mate in Anthony Davis and the front office did a good job of building a group of guys around them to withstand the length of a title-winning season.

Don’t get the promise around the Lakers confused with them being untouchable. The Lakers still have a lot of work to do before fulfilling this promise and they are not the perfect team: there are justified concerns that people may have around the team heading into this season.

If you have no concerns about the Lakers then maybe we can provide you with a  glass-half-empty outlook. Here are the three biggest concerns surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019.
