The Los Angeles Dodgers were handed an early postseason exit by the Washington Nationals and have sent the fans in a take frenzy.

You would think that it would not be so hard to lose in the National League Division Series after losing in the World Series two years in a row. You would be incorrect.

You would think that making the postseason seven times in a row and being the best team of the decade would guarantee a World Series ring. You would be incorrect.

You would think that fans would be used to the Los Angeles Dodgers coming up short in October after a fun, exciting and promising regular season. Again, you would be incorrect.

The Los Angeles Dodgers were given the early postseason boot by the Washington Nationals in the NLDS, losing the do-or-die home Game 5 after leading the game for seven innings. In fact, the only time the Dodgers were trailing was in the 10th inning, when former Dodger Howie Kendrick hit a grand slam to put the closing seal on the Dodgers season.

It was the perfect loss to epitomize a postseason series that was wildly disappointing. A team that won 106 games in the regular season, which also had so much playoff experience, could not show up.

As disappointing and hurtful as it was, there have still been some red hot takes emerging from this postseason loss that I cannot stand behind as a Dodger fan.

If you find yourself having any takes then maybe I can change your mind. These are not just made up in thin air, either. These are things I have seen circling around various social media platforms.
