Los Angeles Dodgers: Three players that may not be in LA in 2020
By Jason Reed
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ offseason started a bit earlier this year and the front office has some decisions to make about the current ensembled roster.
The Los Angeles Dodgers‘ season did not end when the MLB season ended this year. Instead of losing in the World Series, the Dodgers disappointingly loss in the National League Division Series to a Washington Nationals team that is currently up 3-0 in the National League Championship Series.
This is a massive disappointment for a team that won a franchise-record 106 games. But hey, it is really hard to get to the World Series and the Dodgers showed that. Not only do you need skill to get there, but you need to be hot at the right time and you do need a little bit of luck.
On the flip side, the front office gets about two more weeks to ponder what decisions to make and the players get two more weeks to their offseasons. That might be the worst attempt of forced-optimism ever.
This offseason is going to be an interesting one for the Dodgers as they have a ton of space under the luxury tax threshold but have a roster that does not have many expiring contracts or really any holes.
It is going to be interesting to see what the Dodgers do and it is likely that we will see some sort of reshuffling, big or small.
Some of that reshuffling could be trading players to either make room for other players or to try and add to another area of the team. With that in mind, here are three players that could potentially be traded from the Los Angeles Dodgers this winter.
