Justin Turner: A

At the age of 34, Justin Turner had a 2019 season with the Dodgers that mirrored his others: consistent effort. Turner was second on the team in hits (139) and he hit 27 home runs to tie his career-high for a season.

Turner did start to show his age in the field. He was tied for fourth on the team with eight errors and his .937 fielding average was third-worst on the team among position players.

Turner started the season slowly but then he turned on the power, after just one home run in the first month Turner hit 25 home runs over the next four months, hitting 10 in August alone with a .330 average. and a 1.069 OPS. Right when Turner was becoming a superstar, his body broke down.

An ankle injury killed Turner’s September, limiting him to just nine games and putting his postseason in jeopardy. Turner shook it off and had another good October, hitting .285 and being second on the team with two home runs and five runs batted in.
