3. Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers signed away a former Dodger last winter that ironically also got the qualifying offer from Los Angeles. Yasmani Grandal signed a one-year deal that was only slightly more than the qualifying offer that he was going to get with the Dodgers to be a member of the Brewers.

The Brewers can prove that time is nothing but a flat circle and sign another player away from the team that defeated them in the NLCS in 2018 and offer Ryu a similar contract as Pittsburgh with the promise of being the bonafide ace of a World Series contending team.

Milwaukee ranked 16th in the MLB in ERA last season and could definitely improve the starting rotation to improve their chances of getting over the hump and getting to the Fall Classic.

Like Pittsburgh, the Brewers likely are not going to be in the market for Cole or Strasburg and may have to target Ryu as their number one priority in order to get something instead of nothing this upcoming winter.

Meanwhile, Ryu gets the best of both worlds. He gets to pitch for a contending team and he gets to get paid.
