By Jason Reed
We have already gotten the first big Los Angeles Dodgers rumors of the offseason as the team could look to improve with an all-star shortstop.
The Los Angeles Dodgers fell short in the NLDS to the Washington Nationals, who have pushed the Houston Astros to seven games in the World Series, and huge rumors have already been reported around the Dodgers before the World Series could end.
Those rumors are circling around the Dodgers potentially targeting all-star shortstop, Francisco Lindor. John Morosi of MLB.com confirmed the speculation with his sources stating that the Dodgers will indeed pursue a trade for the all-star shortstop.
Lindor is a huge name, so a lot of Dodger fans instantly jump on the wagon that supports trading for him. And as a fan, I support any move that makes the team better and gets them closer to the World Series, but this trade may not be as black and white as some fans like to think.
There are going to be both pros and cons, reasons to do this trade and reasons not to do this trade. That is why so far all we have heard about is that the Dodgers will explore the trade. That does not mean that the Cleveland Indians even have to consider saying yes.
Here are the pros and cons that we have mustered up about a potential Francisco Lindor trade, which will be the very same things that the Dodgers evaluate if these trade talks ever come to fruition.
