After one of the most exciting games in Dallas, the Los Angeles Lakers were tasked to go against the Spurs. With LeBron and Anthony Davis coming off of amazing games, the Team looked to come out of Texas with two wins and they did just that.

The Los Angeles Lakers‘ sixth game in the young season was more full of struggle. Especially from the two stars in LeBron James and Anthony Davis. LeBron had himself a rough night at the charity stripe only shooting 50% on 5 of 10.

Although, he still managed to get himself a triple-double with 21 points, 13 assists, and 13 rebounds. It still looked as if LeBron seemed to struggle a bit more out on the court against the Spurs. He only shot 8 for 23 from the field as a whole. I would say expect next game to be much better from LeBron.

Anthony Davis seemed to have a slow night for himself. He shot 10 for 20 and earned himself 25 points to go with 11 rebounds. It might look like a good game stats wise but seeing the game felt a lot different. Both AD and LeBron felt a step slow.

Luckily for them, the role players stepped up. Dwight Howard has been playing very effectively, and Sunday night was no different. Dwight made smart defensive blocks time and time again during the game.

He also showed his worth on the boards, grabbing 13 rebounds. Although Dwight didn’t just stick to boards and defense, he scored 14 points to help lead the Lakers to a win.

Avery Bradley stepped up in a big way. He scored 16 points and was very effective shooting. It was also a good game for him defensively. Avery was all over the court and stayed busy fighting all night on the defensive end. Unfortunately, he left the game early due to a lower right leg injury, which hopefully will not be considered serious, so he can get back on the court.

KCP was the unlikely role player to step up for the Lakers. He got 14 points and wasn’t bad defensively. There were a few miscues with KCP, but that seemed to be happening everywhere with the team tonight. It still turned out to be a great showing from KCP.

Overall, this was probably the biggest team win the Lakers have had this season. Help from everybody on the team led to the win.

Next. Veteran trade targets to watch. dark

Although it was a dicey game from the Los Angeles Lakers, who turned over the ball too much and let the Spurs get back into the game by the end of the third, the Lakers will take the win anyhow and will look to continue their winning streak against the Bulls.
