2. Gavin Lux

Gavin Lux quickly became one of the most anticipated prospects in all of baseball in 2019 and got an earlier-than-anticipated call-up to the big-league club. It was not just that Lux was a September call-up, he played nearly every day with the big-league club and was granted a postseason roster spot.

Lux did not do great in his month with the big league club and in the playoffs. Lux hit .240 with two home runs in 75 at-bats in the regular season and went 2-9 in the postseason with six strikeouts, albeit one of his hits was a home run.

Lux has seemingly been forgotten about just a few months after he made himself a household name. Dodger fans are dreaming over the idea of signing Anthony Rendon and moving Justin Turner to first base (which would kick Lux out of second).

There has been some talk that Lux’s performance is a reason to trade Corey Seager, but either way, the hype has died down after his lukewarm welcoming to the MLB club.

That is perfect for Lux, who will get another offseason to improve and will be locked and loaded heading into the regular season, looking to prove why he was the 2019 Minor League Player of the Year.

Lux is going to shatter the already high expectations, have a fantastic season and be named the NL Rookie of the Year.
