Los Angeles Lakers: Three huge positives through seven games
The Los Angeles Lakers are off to a hot start after losing the first game of the season and have plenty of positives to take away.
6-1, first in the wild wild west, things are looking pretty good right now. Last season did not at all have the storybook ending the Los Angeles Lakers desired. LeBron arrived, championship aspirations rose, and long story short, the Lakers ended up 10th in the west with a record below .500.
Fast forward to this season—the Lakers scratched away basically everyone from their roster and replaced them with a 27 points per game scorer and defensive anchor named Anthony Davis. In these first few games of the season, the team has quickly risen to the top of the Western Conference.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis’ chemistry seems to be improving more and more every game, and they are proving that their pick and roll will be deadly come postseason. This has come with a bit of a shock because new LeBron James experiment teams always seem to start off slow, but in this case, it seems to be different, and the city is all for it.
The starting line up appears to be looking strong, as well as the supporting cast. Now all is not well and done yet, there is still plenty to improve on and that was pretty evident in the first game of the season against the neighboring Clippers.
But nonetheless, there should undoubtedly be positives taken away from these first seven games of the season. Here are three positives to take away from the first seven games of the season.
