1. Raisel Iglesias

Raisel Iglesias did not have a great 2019 compared to previous years in his career and on a small-market team like the Cincinnati Reds, he definitely is in play for a trade if the right offer is on the table. Because of his under-performing 2019, the Dodgers could get Iglesias at a cheap cost and maximize the return.

Iglesias still was not awful in 2019. He finished the year with a 4.16 ERA in 68 appearances, striking out 89 batters in 67 innings. He was the primary closer for the Reds, finishing the season with 34 saves.

While Iglesias was not great in 2019, he has shown enough in his career to expect 2019 to just be a down year rather than a trend. From 2016 to 2018 Iglesias sported a 2.47 ERA with 255 strikeouts in 226 and one-third innings.

More importantly, Iglesias has been a consistent presence on the field. He has finished with no fewer than 63 games pitched the last three seasons.

Iglesias still has the stuff to be a wipeout relief arm and even challenge Kenley Jansen for the closing role. He has two years left on his contract with $18.125 million owed. That is a big number for a reliever, but it is a big number that the Dodgers can afford that the Reds might look to move away from.
