After a down to the wire win against the Kings, the Los Angeles Lakers were tasked with facing the young Hawks. In what turned quickly into a blowout, largely thanks to LeBron James, the Lakers came out with a win.

The Los Angeles Lakers came out firing against the Atlanta Hawks. Right off the bat, the team pulled away and never gave a chance to the Hawks to re-enter the game.

LeBron James especially had a hand in the huge win. He went on to score 33 points and still managed to dish out 12 assists. These past couple of games LeBron has been on a tear, and I don’t see an end in sight. LeBron is really out to prove to the people that he is nowhere near close to being done, or washed for that matter.

The whole team was on point tonight. Kyle Kuzma erupted for 17 points, most of which came in the second half. Rajon Rondo even came alive, scoring 15 points after returning from an injury, even knocking down a few from beyond the three-point line.

Danny Green scored 11, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope even had another nice game for 13 points, and Alex Caruso added 11 points. The centers were very effective on defense, really the whole team was, but the centers stood out on that end of the floor.

The only player who didn’t seem like himself was Anthony Davis. He shot very poorly and didn’t seem at all energized on the offensive end. He still managed to be a disruption on the defensive end.

AD has not been the offensive force we all know him to be over the last few games. He hasn’t been attacking the rim much.

Now, this could have something to do with his lingering shoulder injury, but we can only speculate until we get more information from the team. Hopefully, AD is fine and has just had a couple of bad outings.

dark. Next. The Lakers will trade for J.J. Redick

The Lakers look to face off against the Thunder next. If, the team can carry on the energy from this game into the next. They shouldn’t face any problems.
