The Los Angeles Dodgers are likely going to make some sort of addition this winter and we decided to break down potential targets by division.

After falling short of expectations in 2019, the Los Angeles Dodgers might be primed for a big signing this offseason. In fact, President of Baseball Operations, Andrew Friedman, even said that the team is going to pursue any star-type players that are available.

So why is this a big deal, you may ask. Every team should be interested in adding star players and the Dodgers are no different, and just because they will pursue the star players does not mean they will sign them, right?

Well, not so fast. While that logic does hold up—the Dodgers can simply pursue stars without signing them—the fact that Friedman came out and actually made a public comment speaks volumes for how serious the Dodgers are.

Past offseasons have been about trimming the salary cap and getting under the luxury tax threshold. Now, as a result of being smart in other winters, the Dodgers have the luxury to go after someone they really like.

Chances are we see a big-name come to the Los Angeles Dodgers this winter, but who? There are so many options outside of the obvious big three, so we decided to break down who the Dodgers could pursue in each division, starting with the American League East.
