1. Julio Teheran

Remember when we said at some point you kind of are who you are in the major leagues? Julio Teheran is the perfect example of that. Teheran was very highly touted at the beginning of his career as a young arm that could blossom into something special.

And for a while, it appeared as if that was going to be the outcome. He had four strong years from 2013 to 2016, where he was an all-star twice and had a combined 3.33 ERA. Since then, though, Teheran has fallen more into the mold of being a third or fourth starter on a team.

Since 2017, Teheran has a combined ERA of 4.09, which is not terrible, with all things considered. The important thing about Teheran and the reason why the Angels should pursue him is his innings pitched.

The Angels need someone who is going to be reliable and can eat innings in the middle of the rotation. Teheran ranks 12th in MLB in innings pitched in the last three seasons with 538 and two-thirds.

He has started 30 or more games every single season since 2013. He is one of just four players to have started 30 or more games in all seven seasons dating back to 2013.

If that is not consistency then I do not know what it and if the Angels can get 30 starts with a 4.09 ERA out of Teheran then it is a massive win.
