Joc Pederson is once again engulfed in the Los Angeles Dodgers trade rumors and as it was last offseason, the rumors connect him to the Chicago White Sox.

There was a lot of speculation that the Los Angeles Dodgers were going to trade Joc Pederson last winter but nothing ever came to fruition. Pederson ended up staying with the Dodgers and performed well, setting a career-high in home runs and RBIs.

Here we are in another winter and there are more trade rumors around Pederson, although this year they seem more likely than last year. Pederson is in the last year of his contract and the Dodgers have shown no hesitation in trading outfielders in their last year, as they did with Yasiel Puig last season.

Plus, the Dodgers are going to have to make some room if the speculation of the team ever trading for Mookie Betts comes to fruition.

The Dodgers have reportedly discussed a trade with the Chicago White Sox, who was the team that was reportedly in on Pederson last winter.

The problem with Chicago, which we found out in out in a different article is that the team does not have much to offer the Dodgers. Pederson still has value and the front office is not going to trade him away for some mid-tier prospects.

It is not like Puig last year where they knew Alex Verdugo was coming and that they would pursue A.J. Pollock.

With not a lot of options to trade for, the Dodgers may look to include a third team and the framework is rather simple. The Dodgers would trade Pederson to the White Sox, the White Sox would trade some mid-tier prospects to another team, who would trade a player to the Dodgers that is worth those mid-tier prospects.

Here are the ideas we came up with.
