Los Angeles Dodgers: Answering the biggest current offseason questions
By Jason Reed
The Los Angeles Dodgers offseason is full of many questions at this point in the winter and we have attempted to answer them all.
The Los Angeles Dodgers‘ offseason has not gone how many fans had hoped it would thus far in the winter. There were hopes of bringing in Gerrit Cole, Anthony Rendon or Stephen Strasburg and never of those hopes formulated as all three signed with other teams.
The only signing that the Dodgers have made thus far is Blake Treinen, who agreed to a one-year, $10 million contract with the team. While Treinen was not great last season, if he can be half of the pitcher that he was in 2018 then the Dodgers bullpen just got a massive facelift.
Aside from that, though, there have not been many changes for the Dodgers, but there has been plenty of rumors and speculation around the team, which has created several different paths that the team can take the rest of the offseason.
Some of these plans are far-fetched and some feel like legitimate possibilities. While there is fire wherever there is smoke, chances are that most of these rumors and reports won’t come to fruition.
I highly doubt the Dodgers are going to be passive the rest of the offseason, however. If we break down the biggest questions remaining around the team, perhaps we can pinpoint the path that the front office is going to take.
Here are our answers for the biggest questions that are currently surrounding the Los Angeles Dodgers.
