2. Dave Roberts, 2016-Present, 393-265

NL West Division titles: 4 NL Pennants: 2

Since his hire as the manager for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2015 off-season all Dave Roberts has done is win. He is the only Dodgers manager to win a division title in his first four seasons as a manager. In 2019 he led the Dodgers to a franchise record 106 wins, two seasons after setting a Los Angeles franchise record 104 wins.

More importantly, Roberts lead the Dodgers back to the World Series in 2017 after a 29-year absence and could have won the whole thing if not for an elaborate sign-stealing system by the Houston Astros (allegedly).

In 2018 Roberts weathered injuries and poor play to lead the team back to the World Series after they were 9 games out of first place in May. Despite mistakes in key situations in the playoffs, Roberts deserves praise for his ability to keep a clubhouse together after taking over a fractured situation.

Roberts has been able to maintain a winner despite injuries, player turnover, and the integration of young prospects. The Dodgers are winners and that reflects a lot of what Roberts his done since he was hired.
