Los Angeles Kings: Top five players of the 2010 decade

4. Dustin Brown
When you are the first captain in franchise history to raise the Stanley Cup and then you do it again just two seasons later you will definitely make a list like this.
Dustin Brown was not a mere passenger during the Kings winning campaigns, in 2012 he had 20 points as a co-league leader in the playoffs and in 2014 he had two game-winning goals including the overtime winner in Game Two of the Stanley Cup Final.
Over the decade Brown served as team captain for sevens seasons was second among forwards with 426 points and scored the second-most goals on the team with 193. Brown did this while playing a tenacious two-way game usually doling out crunching checks and coming up with goals as well.
By the end of the decade, Brown would reach some significant milestones becoming the all-time leader in Kings’ franchise history in games played and moving into the top 10 in goals, assists, and points. Though he no longer wheres the Captain’s designation on his jersey there is little doubt that Brown remains a team leader on and off the ice.
