#3 2011 LA Galaxy 19-5-10 PTS: 67

The 2011 LA Galaxy managed to have a historic season and start off an MLS dynasty. Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena were able to manage the egos galactic star David Beckham and team captain Landon Donovan, then he brought in Robbie Keane who made a name for himself in Britain’s Premier League.

The team won the Supporters Shield as the league’s best regular-season team. The Galaxy gave up the fewest goals in the league (28) and managed a +20 goal differential also tops in the league.

In the playoffs, the Galaxy won their third MLS Cup in franchise history and completed the domestic double for the second time. In the playoffs the Galaxy outscored their opponents 7-2, it was the first of what would be three MLS Cups in four years.
