J.J. Redick, the old veteran who has proven time and time again he does his job and he does it well.

So far this season he hasn’t missed a step. J.J. Redick is averaging 15.7 points a game while shooting an amazing 46.4% from three. Not to mention he just so happens to be one of the NBA’s most consistent three-point shooters.

On the losing Pelicans I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few teams go after the veteran. He is a top-tier role-player who can change the playing field for most teams including the Lakers. Now, he might not be the defender Danny Green happens to be. But, he more than makes up for it on the offensive end on a nightly basis.

The only problem that can occur, if the Lakers were to try to acquire the veteran would probably be the price. A simple swap of a player like Danny Green and Redick would probably not be enough to entice the Pelicans. A little more would have to be given up. Which is something the Lakers might not be willing to do.

Still, if somehow the Lakers were to snag Redick, and do it for a small price the Lakers would be in better shape from the three than before. Aside LeBron and AD, Redick would be open more than he has ever been in his career.
