1. Anthony Castonzo

The Los Angeles Rams made an excellent signing three years ago when they signed veteran tackle Andrew Whitworth to a three-year contract. Whitworth was the best member of one of the best offensive lines but now it is time to replace the veteran, perhaps with another veteran.

Just like the team did with Whitworth, the Los Angeles Rams could pursue a long-term veteran of one team in Anthony Castonzo. Although Castonzo is not as highly-touted as Whitworth was, he certainly is talented, evident from his 2019 season.

Not only was Castonozo named to the first Pro Bowl of his career, but he did not miss a single snap for the Colts this season. There is one problem, however, Castonzo is reportedly not ruling out retirement, which is just another wrench in the Rams’ potential plans.

Money talks and getting to live in Los Angeles and play for a contending team under a great head coach in McVay can also convince someone to stay out of retirement. The Rams could afford a three-year, $25 million contract for Castonzo and he would be worth it.

The Rams could even spend more than $25 million on an offensive lineman, but if they were, it should not be for Castonzo.
