The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the true contenders for the 2020 NBA Championship but are not without concerns heading down the stretch.

The Los Angeles Lakers are one of three teams that realistically have a chance of winning the NBA Championship in 2020. Joined by the Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks, the NBA Finals have turned into a three-team race as we are in the All-Star Break.

There certainly are other teams that have an outside chance and could play the Lakers, Clippers or Bucks close, but it is really hard to imagine an NBA Finals matchup that won’t take place between both Milwaukee and Los Angeles.

This season has been a breeze for the Los Angeles Lakers, thus far. The team has not handled any significant injuries and they enter the All-Star Break in first place in the Western Conference. The Lakers are four games ahead of the Denver Nuggets and five games ahead of the Clippers.

The Lakers are 4.5 games behind the Bucks for the best record in the league and lost the only matchup against Milwaukee, which was on the road in December.

That is not a massive concern for the Lakers, as the Bucks are great and even better at home and it was a somewhat competitive game. There definitely are things that fans should be concerned about as the Lakers may their way towards the NBA Finals. Here are those things.
