2. Brandon Parker

The Los Angeles Rams’ biggest need this offseason is the offensive line. Jared Goff played behind the worst offensive line of his career last season which, according to Pro Football Focus, was the 31st-ranked offensive line in 2019. That is second to last, for those who are counting.

The team was not given any favors as they battled injuries at the position all season but it became alarmingly clear that the solid offensive line that Goff played behind for two years was gone, and now so is the best part of that offensive line in veteran Andrew Whitworth.

The Rams need help and while Brandon Parker might not be someone that is going to completely overhaul the offensive line, he is someone who is going to make the team better and might not cost that much.

Parker is a second-stringer on the Raiders that was taken in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He sits behind Trenton Brown, who has a large contract, and Kolton Miller, who the team drafted in the first round last year.

With two more years under contract, it is safe to say that he is nothing more than a depth option, so some more draft capital might be intriguing to the Raiders. They won’t get a third-round pick back but the Rams could offer their fourth-round pick this year as well as a future fifth or sixth.

Parker may not be starting on the Raiders but he was average at worst in 2019 when he started 12 games before the team drafted Miller. He would be a better option than drafting a rookie offensive lineman in the fourth round, as he has experience and the Rams already know what they are getting.
