First five:

March 1 @ New Orleans Pelicans — Loss

The Los Angeles Lakers have a really tough stretch of games coming up and a fourth matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans might not seem like a huge challenge, especially after the team defeated New Orleans just a few days ago behind 40 points from LeBron.

However, this game is the second leg of a back-to-back in which the Lakers are traveling from Memphis to New Orleans. The Lakers have beaten the Pelicans all three times this season and Zion Williamson will get his revenge and the Pelicans will barely outlast the Lakers.

March 3 vs. Philadelphia 76ers — Win

The Philadelphia 76ers present an interesting matchup for the Lakers as they are one of few teams in the league that can go toe-to-toe with the Lakers with size and has a big man in Joel Embiid that can score over Anthony Davis.

However, despite sporting a really good home record, the 76ers are 9-21 on the road this season. That completely sways the game in the Lakers’ favor.

March 6 vs. Milwaukee Bucks — Win

This will be the game of the year. After getting a few days to rest, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Milwaukee Bucks in a potential NBA Finals preview in the teams’ second matchup against each other, with the Bucks emerging victorious earlier in the season on their home court.

This time the LAkers get home-court advantage and the electricity in the building is going to make this feel like a playoff game. Like a playoff game, we are going to see a back and forth contest where neither team really can pull away, with the game being decided on a buzzer-beater winner for the Lakers.

March 8 @ Los Angeles Clippers — Win

The Lakers’ third straight game in LA is technically a road game but nonetheless, coming off of a big win against the Bucks the Lakers are going to carry some momentum into this matchup with the Clippers.

The Lakers are 0-2 against the Clippers this season but in both games showed that they have what it takes to defeat their LA foes, things just didn’t swing their way in either way.

Wanting to make a statement, the Lakers win their first game against the Clippers this season and in the process beat the other two title-contenders in back-to-back nights.

March 10 vs. Brooklyn Nets — Win

A fourth straight game in Los Angeles against a Brooklyn Nets team that does not have Kyrie Irving? I don’t even need to write much about this game. Another win for the Lakers.
