The Los Angeles Chargers have some important free agents to tend to this offseason, with some potentially returning to LA and some leaving.

This offseason is an important one for the Los Angeles Chargers. The team is starting a new era at the quarterback position, which the team and long-time quarterback Philip Rivers agreeing to part ways (we will get to Rivers later).

That is not the only thing that the Chargers have to address as well as there are other impactful free agents that the team must handle this offseason. All in all, we have narrowed the list down to five as the Chargers have five impactful free agents that the team needs to make a decision on.

Joining Rivers is running back Melvin Gordon, tight end Hunter Henry, safety Adrian Phillips and wide receiver Travis Benjamin. The Chargers are young enough and have a talented enough core to contend, as evident from their 12-4 record in 2018, so making the right decision on these free agents is imperative.

Some will naturally stay and some will leave, whether it be by the Chargers’ discretion or not. We already know that Rivers will be quarterbacking another team in 2020; so starting with him, here is what we think will happen to the Chargers’ five biggest free agents this offseason.
