The Los Angeles Rams have several roster holes that need to be filled to return to the playoffs and must utilize the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Rams had a disappointing 2019 season that still ended with a 9-7 record that could have been better than it was. If Greg Zuerlein makes the game-winning field goal in the first matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, then the Rams would have been the NFC Wild Card over Seattle.

That is not what happened and the Rams have to live with the results. While the season may not have been as disappointing as some fans think it was, the Rams still underperformed a year after making it to the Super Bowl.

In order to prevent another underperforming season, the Rams’ front office is going to have to be proactive in addressing the team’s biggest needs heading into 2020 with a big source of that being the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Rams do not have a plethora of cap space like past offseasons and for the fourth year in a row, do not have a first-round pick in the draft, so the team is going to have to be savvy with who they select.

The most pressing needs for the Rams are the offensive line and an edge-rusher to replace Dante Fowler Jr. The team could also use secondary help, as well as more linebacker depth.
