Reason against: The leadership from up above

The Los Angeles Chargers’ upper management has not received much love and there is a reason for that. Even Charger fans are unhappy with owner Dean Spanos and his decision-making and this could be a huge reason for Brady to turn down the Chargers if he stays in New England.

It is so much more than moving the team to Los Angeles as well, which as we all know, was the worst thing that the Chargers could have done and has left the team in a state of purgatory that Spanos seemingly has no urgency to address.

It also extends to the on-field play as well. There is a reason why Philip Rivers is third in the league in sacks since he became a starter and that is because the front office and the ownership group failed to properly invest in an offensive line to improve Rivers’ quality of life.

There are owners that will put it all out there and do anything it takes to win a Super Bowl. It does not always work, but it is the Rob Krafts and Jerry Jones of the world that truly will do anything to win a Super Bowl. Running a successful NFL franchise has to start from the top.

And coming from a team that is known for the “Patriot way,” it would not be all that surprising if Brady sees how the Chargers operate after a sit-down meeting and decides against a new home after all.

Brady very well could not be all that concerned, knowing that he is only going to be with the Chargers for a short amount of time. However, Brady is a smart guy, I think it will have some sort of impact.
