The Los Angeles Rams’ biggest need this offseason is offensive line help and the team could get a significant boost by trading for Trai Turner.

The one glaring weakness on the Los Angeles Rams is the offensive line and it is arguably the reason why Hared Goff underperformed last season and the Rams finished with a disappointing 9-7 record.

Goff is not known as an elite quarterback that is going to beat another team by himself and is at his best when he is protected and has weapons. For his first two seasons under Sean McVay, that was the case.

That was not the case in 2019 as the Rams’ line took a significant step back and as a result, Goff took a step back as well. He was not awful in 2019, but it is hard to imagine the Rams making the Super Bowl without improving the offensive line.

Many expect the Rams to turn to free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft to improve the offensive line but the team can go another route, the trade route. Les Snead’s front office is one of the most aggressive in the league in conducting trades, so it certainly is a possibility.

A very intriguing name hit the trade market as the Carolina Panthers are reportedly shopping offensive guard, Trai Turner. Turner is a five-time Pro Bowler that is entering his seventh season in the league.

Turner signed a four-year, $45 million extension in 2017, and while the Panthers would still carry over $9 million in dead cap, they would save money and could get a decent return for Turner.

Here are two separate trade packages that the Rams could offer the Panthers, each with different motives.
