The Los Angeles Dodgers have one of the deepest rosters in baseball, and as a result, the team is going to field several NL All-Stars at their home park.

The 2020 MLB All-Star Game is in Los Angeles this year and the Los Angeles Dodgers are in a prime position to send several players to the Midsummer Classic to play in front of their home fans.

Last year, the Dodgers sent five players to the All-Star Game, which was tied for the second-most during the team’s seven-year playoff run. The most all-stars that the team had at one point was in 2017, where six Dodgers were sent to the All-Star Game.

With the Dodgers having one of the deepest rosters of all-time, the team is certainly going to be well-represented at their home ballpark. Here are all of our projected Dodger all-stars for the 2020 season, in alphabetical order by last name.

1. Cody Bellinger, third appearance

If you follow our work on LA Sports Hub closely then you will know that Cody Bellinger is one of the players that we think will fall short of expectations this season and he won’t even be the MVP of the Dodgers in 2020 (we’ll get to that).

The great part about Bellinger is that he has been so good that even a disappointing season is going to be an all-star season, as Bellinger will still get votes for the MVP award at the end of the year, we just don’t project him to be a finalist.

Pitchers are not going to pitch to Bellinger in 2020, which will benefit those around him, but lead to a lower batting average and higher on-base percentage for Belli, similar to Mike Trout.

We still project Bellinger to hit around 40 home runs and drive in 100 RBIs, but the batting average will be closer to his .263 second-half mark from last year than the .305 total batting average.

But still, if Bellinger is hitting .280 with 25 home runs and 60 RBIs at the All-Star Break, with Gold Glove defense, it is impossible to keep him out of the game at his home ballpark.
